Acoustics 101 – Building code guidelines and more

Philippe has been an acoustical consultant since 2012. During that time, he has performed measurements and simulations, and recommended mitigation treatments on a variety of residential, commercial and environmental projects. In addition, he has developed noise control guidelines for multi-family dwellings to assist project design teams, general contractors and tradespeople in providing a satisfactory acoustical
environment for future residents by minimizing intrusive noise from the environment, building systems and
appliances and maximizing acoustical privacy between residential units, etc.
