Contaminants removal

Surface contaminants such as old adhesives or release agents (used to help separate concrete walls from the base slab during 'Tilt Up' construction), must be removed before pouring Hydraulic Cement Underlayment (self leveler) and or installing glue down floor coverings. Other contaminants to be concerned with include oils, greases, wax, paint, markers, curing agents and one of the most common causes of bond failure, dust.
